Private Eye is a 6-year-old brown gelding who is trained by Joseph Pride and based at Warwick Farm. He is sired by the stallion Al Maher out of the dam Confidential Queen. He has won 11 races out of 30 starts, including the Group 1 Epsom Handicap and the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap. He has earned over $9 million in prize money and is regarded as an elite class of racehorse.
